OXFORD OPP INVESTIGATES FATAL COLLISION NEAR TILLSONBURG

(TILLSONBURG, ON) - Members of the Oxford Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a two-vehicle collision near Tillsonburg that has resulted in a fatality.
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, at approximately 12:45 pm, officers responded to reports of a collision at the intersection of Plank Line and Ostrander Road, involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck towing a recreational vehicle (RV).
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist, a 50-year-old male from Woodstock, was transported to hospital and later pronounced deceased.
The investigation by Oxford OPP remains ongoing, with assistance from Collision Reconstructionists and Technical Collision Investigators from the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team.
The intersection of Plank Line and Ostrander Road was closed for several hours while emergency crews and investigators were on scene but has since reopened.
