DRIVER CHARGED AFTER FAILING TO STOP FOR POLICE

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a traffic stop investigation in Haldimand County.
On Friday, July 3, 2026, at 9:05 pm, a member from the Haldimand County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting general patrol in Dunnville when they attempted to initiate a traffic stop on George Street.
The vehicle failed to stop for police. As a result of the investigation the driver was located and placed under arrest.
38-year-old Devlin SCHRINER of Dunnville has been charged with the following offences:
- Flight from peace officer
- Driving while under suspension
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on September 8, 2026.
