ONE DRIVER CHARGED IN TWO VEHICLE COLLISION

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a motor vehicle collision in Haldimand County.
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, at approximately 5:30 pm, members from the Haldimand County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Cross Street East and Cedar Street, Dunnville.
The investigation determined that a pickup truck and a freight van had collided at the intersection.
The operator of the van was transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation the driver of the pickup truck, a 24-year-old from Hamilton, has been charged with the following Highway Traffic Act offences:
- Careless driving causing bodily harm
- Disobey stop sign - fail to stop
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on July 10th, 2026.
