MULTIPLE CHARGES LAID FOLLOWING MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a fail to report motor vehicle collision investigation in Haldimand County.
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, at approximately 8:55 pm, members from the Haldimand County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a suspicious vehicle near Main Street East and Queen Street, Dunnville.
As a result of the investigation, 41-year-old, Henry NIEMEYER of Dunnville, has been charged with the following Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences:
- Theft of motor vehicle
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Driving while under suspension (Two counts)
- Fail to report accident
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on August 25th, 2026.
