Police Seeking Public Assistance
(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - Police are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying an individual, involved in a shoplifting investigation.
On Monday, June 8, 2026, at approximately 1:17 pm the Haldimand County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of shoplifting from a business on Argyle Street South, Caledonia.
The investigation has determined an unknown individual attended the location and removed merchandise with making any attempt to pay prior to fleeing the scene in a white Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).
The person police are seeking to identify is described to be:
- Indigenous female, 5’2”
- Heavy build, black hair
- Wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black shoes
- Carrying a large black purse
