(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing three charges following an investigation in Haldimand County.
On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 2:50 pm, members from the Haldimand County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an altercation between a driver and a pedestrian on George Street, Dunnville.
The driver was later located by police and arrested. No injuries were reported.
Michael SPITERI, 41-years-old of Dunnville, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Dangerous operation
- Assault with a weapon
- Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on September 1, 2026.
