(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a motor vehicle collision in Haldimand County.
On Monday, June 15, 2026, at approximately 9:20 pm, members from the Haldimand County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Bird Road, Dunnville.
As a result of the investigation the individual was placed under arrest.
23-year-old Dominic SIMATOVIC of Hamilton has been charged with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on September 28, 2026.
