(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a motor vehicle collision in Haldimand County.
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, at approximately 6:10 am, members from the Haldimand County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Dry Lake Road, Cayuga.
As a result of the investigation the individual was placed under arrest.
65-year-old Brian PORTER of Six Nations of the Grand River has been charged with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on August 4, 2026.
