(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - An individual was arrested following an investigation in Haldimand County.
On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at approximately 7:20 pm, members from the Haldimand County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a suspicious person in Caledonia.
As a result of the investigation, 34-year-old, Mateo VELASQUEZ RUIZ from Caledonia, was placed under arrest on June 25, 2026, and charged under the Criminal Code for one count of Indecent Acts - public place.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on August 4, 2026.
