COLLISION LEADS TO MULTIPLE CHARGES

(LAKESHORE, ON) - One person has been charged following a collision in Lakeshore.
On July 14, 2026, at approximately 8:22 pm, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Amy Croft Drive in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
There were no injuries.
Boles ELNAR, 37-years-old of Windsor was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code, Liquor Licence Control Act and Highway Traffic Act offences:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Dangerous operation
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice (Identity fraud)
- Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
- Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero
- Drive motor vehicle - no licence
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on August 26, 2026, to answer to the charges.
