(ESSEX, ON) - Driver charged following traffic enforcement in Essex.
On Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 2:46 am, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), conducted a traffic stop on Herring Street, in the Town of Essex.
Nicolas FISHER, 45-year-old of Essex was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Operation while Impaired - alcohol and drugs
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on July 22, 2026, to answer it the charges.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day impoundment was initiated as per statute.
