COLLISION LEADS TO SEVERAL CHARGES

(KINGSVILLE, ON) - A driver has been charged following a collision in Kingsville.
At approximately 10:49 pm on June 13, 2026, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on County Road 20 and McCain Side Road in the Town of Kingsville.
One driver, a 65-year-old male driver of Windsor suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision.
Lyndon BARR, 47-years-old male driver of Windsor was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous operation causing bodily harm
- Operation causing bodily harm
- Start from stopped position - not in safety
The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on July 28, 2026, to answer to the charges.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated for both drivers as per statute.
