(LAKESHORE, ON) - A driver has been charged following a traffic stop in Lakeshore.
On June 10, 2026, at approximately 2:08 am, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on County Rd. 22, at Wallace Line, in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
Yaksh Yogeshkumar PATEL, 22-year-old from Windsor was charged with the following offences:
- Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed
- Driving Motor Vehicle with unsealed container of liquor
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on August 24, 2026, to answer to the charges.
The driver’s license has been suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle has been impounded for 14 days.
