OPP Seeking Public’s Assistance
(ESSEX, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual responsible in relation to a theft complaint in the Town of Essex.
On June 7, 2026, at approximately 9:10 pm, an unknown male attended an apartment complex in the Town of Essex, to meet for the sale of an item through a social media site.
The victim provided the item to the suspect, who in turn, fled the scene on foot without paying for the item.
The suspect is described as:
- White male
- Wearing a black hoodie
- Wearing blue jeans
