OPP Seeking Witnesses
(LEAMINGTON, ON) - On July 8, 2026, at approximately 6:29 pm, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a two vehicle collision, on Erie St. S., in the Municipality of Leamington.
Through the investigation it was determined that the accused caused a collision and brandished a knife.
No persons were injured.
Dwayne Christoper MCPHERSON, a 36-year old from Leamington has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Assault with a weapon x 2
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose x 2
- Uttering Threats - Cause death or bodily harm
- Dangerous Operation
The investigation is ongoing and the OPP are asking anyone that may have witnessed anything in the area of 81 - 91 Erie St. S. in the Municipality of Leamington, to come forward.
