TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO CHARGES

(LAKESHORE, ON) - Driver charged after traffic stop in Lakeshore.
On July 15, 2026, at approximately 11:40 pm, members of the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted traffic stop on County Road 22 near Wallace Line Road in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
Jackson STANOJLOVIC, 22-years-old of Windsor was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code, Liqour Licence Control Act and Highway Traffic Act offences:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Speeding 1-49 Km/h over posted limit
- Driving motor vehicle with unsealed container of liquor
The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on August 28, 2026, to answer to the charges.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
