TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE

(TECUMSEH, ON) - One person has been charged following a traffic complaint in Tecumseh.
On June 15, 2026, at approximately 3:03 pm, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) assisted Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Enforcement Officers with a traffic stop on Malden Road in the Town of Tecumseh.
Mitchell LAROUCHE, 29-years-old of Lakeshore was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on July 30, 2026, to answer to the charges.
