(BRANT, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment has charged a driver following a traffic stop in Brant County.
On May 18, 2026, at approximately 7:20 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop on Broadway Street West in the county of Brant. Through the investigation, it was determined that the driver was operating a motor vehicle while being prohibited under the Criminal Code, and further to that had no current insurance coverage on the vehicle.
As a result, a 63-year-old driver from Brant County has been charged with:
- Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
- Owner operate a motor vehicle without insurance
