INTIMITE PARTNER INVESTIGATION - ONE PERSON ARRESTED and CHARGED
(BRANT, ON) - Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner-related incident in Brant County.
On June 2, 2026, at approximately 8:50 am, Brant County OPP responded to a report of an assault at a residence in the County of Brant.
Investigation determined that a physical and verbal argument between two individuals occurred with one person sustaining minor injuries as a result. The involved parties are known to one another.
As a result of the investigation, one 60-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged with:
- Assault - Spousal, - Assault Cause Bodily Harm - Choke, suffocate or strangle
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Brantford at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 17, 2026.
