One Person Charged
(BRANT, ON) - Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.
On July 8, 2026, at approximately 1:20 pm, members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an incident involving two individuals that had occurred at a residence in the town of Paris.
As a result of the investigation, a 61-year-old individual from the County of Brant was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with, Assault - Spousal.
The accused was released on an adult undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, on August 20, 2026.
