One Person Charged
(BRANT, ON) - Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.
On March 3rd, 2026, at approximately 5:30 pm, Brant County OPP began an investigation regarding a report of a historical intimate partner violence occurrence at a residence in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Assault - Spousal.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
