LOCAL RESIDENT CHARGED WITH REFUSAL AFTER TRAFFIC COMPLAIN

(LAURENTIAN VALLEY TWP., ON) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged a Petawawa resident with refusal following an investigation.
On June 13, 2026, just after 3:00 am, officers received a traffic complaint from a driver travelling on Highway 17 in Laurentian Valley Township. The vehicle was located and officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of B Line Rd and Petawawa Blvd.
As a result of this incident Caitlan WARMAN, 45 years old, of Petawawa has been charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.
The accused was released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on July 28, 2026.
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and their vehicle towed and impounded for seven days.
