SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE COMPLAINT LEADS TO DRUG CHARGES

(BONNECHERE VALLEY TWP., ON) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual after locating drugs during a suspicious vehicle complaint.
On June 10, 2026, just after 2:30 am, OPP were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the Eganville area in Bonnechere Valley Township. While dealing with an individual a quantity of suspected cocaine and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency was located.
Timothy HASLAM, 42 years old, of Killaloe has been charged with possession of a schedule I substance as well as possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000. The accused was released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on August 31, 2026.
