TWO TEENS CHARGED AFTER ALTERCATION

(PEMBROKE, ON) - - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two local teens following an altercation.
On June 15, 2026, shortly after 3:30 pm, officers responded to a crowd having a verbal argument. Police attended and separated both groups. After an investigation a 17-year-old was charged with, dangerous operation and mischief under $5000. A 16-year-old was also charged with uttering threats to cause death.
Both young persons were released, and their parents notified. Both accused youths are scheduled to attend Youth Court at a later date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke. The names of the young persons cannot be released in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
