A Guelph man faces drug charges after a man and woman were found passed out in a vehicle Tuesday morning.
Approximately 7:30 am police were called to check on two people passed out in a vehicle in a commercial parking lot on Stone Road West. A man was observed in the passenger seat with a glass pipe and lighter in his lap.
Officers searched the vehicle and located approximately 30 empty baggies as well as a case containing suspected cocaine, a vial of suspected fentanyl and two contaminated digital scales. A 38-year-old Guelph man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possessing a controlled substance. He will appear in court October 9.
