Two arrested after break-in

Two Guelph men face charges after a break-in last week at an east-end business.
Shortly after 5 am July 7 two men attended a business on York Road and broke locks to gain entry to a shed and storage trailer. Various tools and car parts were stolen.
The Guelph Police Service Break Enter Auto Theft Unit took over the investigation and were able to identify the parties from security video. On Friday two Guelph men – aged 42 and 36 – were arrested for break and enter. The older man is also charged with possessing break-in instruments after bolt cutters and a crow bar were found during the arrest. One of the men was released with a September court date and the other was held for a bail hearing Monday.
