Police investigating after man wounded

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after an altercation downtown early Friday which sent one man to a Hamilton trauma centre.
Approximately 4:50 am emergency services were called to a business on Macdonell Street for reports of a man with a laceration to his chest. The man told officers he had been injured during an altercation with an unknown man outside a business near Wyndham Street North and Cork Street East.
The victim was transported to a Hamilton trauma centre for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
