Two stunt drivers parked

Two motorists were taken off the road for 30 days after they were separately caught stunt driving Tuesday evening.
Just after 5 pm a member of the Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit was patrolling on Kortright Road West when he clocked a black Audi travelling 116 km/h in the posted 50 km/h zone.
Approximately five hours later the same officer was patrolling on Woodlawn Road West near Michener Road when he clocked a grey Mazda travelling 109 km/h in the posted 60 km/h zone.
A 17-year-old Guelph male and 20-year-old Kitchener man are both charged with speeding and stunt driving. Both had their licences suspended for 30 days and their vehicles impounded for 14 days. A stunt driving conviction will attract a minimum licence suspension of one year, a minimum fine of $2,000 and six demerit points.
