The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a south-end home was entered Saturday while the owners were out.
Just before 1 pm officers were dispatched to an address near Beaver Meadow Drive and McArthur Drive after the owner returned home to discover a side window smashed. The home’s surveillance cameras had been disabled and several closets ransacked.
Officers spoke to neighbours, who described a suspicious male in the area around the same time. He was described as being in his 30s or 40s, 5’7” with an average build and tanned skin and wearing a dark t-shirt and shorts and a black hat.
