Approximately 12:45 am officers received a report of a vehicle being driven erratically in the west end. An officer with the Traffic Unit spotted the vehicle and pulled it over close to downtown. The driver was asked to provide a roadside breath test which resulted in a fail.
She was arrested and transported to the police station where further tests confirmed she had more than the legal amount of alcohol in her system. A 24-year-old Brampton woman is charged with impaired driving. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and the car, which did not belong to her, was impounded for seven days.
