Two Guelph boys are charged with robbery after a third reported being assaulted and having his property stolen.
On Friday evening the victim reported he was walking in the area of Victoria Road North and Brant Avenue when he was approached and threatened by two other boys. The victim was assaulted and had his backpack and a basketball stolen. The property was later discarded in a portable toilet.
Officers located the suspects in the area a short time later and arrested them. Two boys, aged 12 and 13, are charged with robbery. They will appear in court July 22.
