A Guelph man faces a number of weapons charges after Guelph Police Service officers executed a search warrant at a north-end apartment early Tuesday.
As part of an ongoing investigation officers obtained a search warrant for an apartment unit neat Stevenson Street North and Speedvale Avenue East. A search revealed two airsoft guns and a set of brass knuckles. The tenant of the apartment is currently on a bail order with a no-weapons condition.
A 30-year-old Guelph man is charged with two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a weapon and failing to comply with a release order. He was held for bail court Tuesday.
