INDIVIDUAL CHARGED FOLLOWING MISCHIEF INVESTIGATION

(GRAND BEND, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a mischief investigation in Grand Bend.
On July 4, 2026, at approximately 10:54 pm, members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a mischief at a business on Main Street West in Grand Bend.
It was reported that an individual attended the property, damaged two parking gates, and then left the scene. Officers attended the area and located the involved individual.
As a result of the investigation, Isaac BENNEWIES, a 21-year-old of Clinton was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Liquor Licence and Control Act with the following offences:
- Mischief - destroys or damages property
- Being intoxicated in a public place
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on September 14, 2026.
