TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVER

(WARWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a traffic stop in Warwick Township.
On July 14, 2026, just after 2:20 am, a member of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting general patrol when they observed a suspicious vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted on Nauvoo Road near Townsend Line.
As a result, Kenneth JACKSON, 39-year-old of Cambridge, was charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on August 25, 2026.
