(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) - An individual from Sarnia is facing impaired driving-related charges following a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) check point in the Municipality of Lambton Shores.

On June 13, 2026, shortly after 6:30 pm, members of Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. check point on Oak Street in Grand Bend.

As a result, Tyler MCCRACKEN, 28-years-old, of Sarnia, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on July 21, 2026.
