(TILBURY, ON) - A Wallaceburg resident is facing weapons charges.
On July 7, 2026, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE), members of the Lambton County Detachment Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the Canine Unit executed a warrant following a traffic stop in Tilbury, Ontario.
Jonathan CLARK, 32-years-old from Wallaceburg, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
- Operation while prohibited under the criminal code
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order (three counts)
- Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court
- Carry concealed prohibited device or ammunition
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Resist peace officer
The accused has been remanded into custody until July 27, 2026.
