TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVER

(GRAND BEND, ON) - Police have charged an individual following a traffic complaint in Grand Bend.
On July 1, 2026, at approximately 10:55 am, members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver on Ontario Street.
As a result of the investigation, Nevaeh STEWART, 20-year-old from Haldimand County, has been charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 13, 2026, in the City of Sarnia.
