TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO CHARGES

(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) - An individual from London, Ontario is facing impaired driving-related charges following a traffic stop in the Municipality of Lambton Shores.
On June 14, 2026, shortly before 2:30 am, members of Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Grand Bend.
As a result of the investigation, Ryan JACKSON 18-years-old, of London, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, and Liquor Licence and Control Act with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero
- Person Under 19 years consuming liquor
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on July 28, 2026.
