TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVER

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Driver facing Impaired charge after traffic stop.
On April 5, 2026, at 2:38 am, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle on Sharon Drive near Carriage Road.
A traffic stop was initiated at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.
As a result, Alisson ABRAM-DELEARY, a 33-year-old of Munsee-Delaware First Nation has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
- Class G1 licence holder - unaccompanied by qualified driver
- Class G1 licence holder - drive at unlawful hour
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on May 25, 2026.
