(BEAUCAGE TOWNSHIP, ON) - A driver is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic stop in Beaucage Township.

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 5:30 pm, members of the Nipissing West OPP were patrolling Highway 17 when they observed a westbound vehicle making abrupt movements.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in a commercial lot off Highway 17. During the investigation, police observed signs consistent with alcohol impairment. The driver was arrested and transported to the North Bay Police Service headquarters for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Katrine BROUILLETTE, 26 years of age, of West Nipissing, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired - alcohol
  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on August 6, 2026. The driver was also issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
