(CARLETON PLACE, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a break and enter investigation at the Carleton Place public works yard.

Lanark County OPP officers investigated an incident in Carleton Place on June 10, 2026, just before 9:00 pm after a witness observed people trespassing in the area. This resulted in the arrest of Anthony HENDERSON, 42 years old of Tay Valley Township and Albert WILSON, 42years old of Lanark Highlands Township.

As a result of the investigation Anthony HENDERSON has been charged with:

  • Break and enter
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance - suspected cocaine

Albert WILSON has been charged with:

  • Break and enter

The accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on September 14, 2026.
