MOTORIST CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

(LANARK HIGHLANDS TWP, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Kingston resident with impaired driving.
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the Village of Lanark on Sunday, June 21, 2026, just after 3:15 pm
The driver was arrested and transported to the OPP Detachment in Perth for testing.
As a result of the investigation, Lisa THURBRON, 40 years old, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, July 27, 2026.
The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
