MOTORCYCLE COLLISION IN LANARK HIGHLANDS TOWNSHIP

(LANARK HIGHLANDS TWP, ON) - Members of the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Wolf Grove Road in Lanark Highlands Township.
On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, just after 2:00 pm, Lanark County OPP officers responded to a collision on Wolf Grove Road between Gibson Road and the 8th Concession B Lanark.
As a result of the collision, the sole rider of the motorcycle, a 73-year-old male from Lanark Highlands Township was transported by Air Ornge to an area trauma hospital where in critical condition.
The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist. Wolf Grove Road between Gibson Road and the 8th Concession B Lanark will remain closed for several hours while emergency crews and investigators are on scene. Detours are in place.
