PERTH MAN CHARGED IN INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE CASE
Correction of Date
(PERTH, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Perth resident with offences involving intimate partner violence.
Officers began an investigation on Thursday, June 25, 2026, regarding allegations of intimate partner. As a result of the investigation a 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
- Assault with a weapon - two counts
- Mischief
The male was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on a later date.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
