(MISSISSIPPI MILLS, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual with 29 criminal offences in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles.
On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, officers received reports of thefts from unattended vehicles in the Township of Mississippi Mills.
As a result of the investigation, Dustin Amos, 28-years-old, of Mississippi Mills was charged with:
- Theft under $5000 - three counts
- Attempt to commit theft under $5000 - four counts
- Mischief under $5000
- Trespass by night - seven counts
- Failure to comply with a probation order - 14 counts
The accused was arrested on Thursday, July 9, 2026, and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth for a bail hearing.
