COLLISION IN PUSLINCH LEADS TO CHARGES

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) - On July 9, 2026, at approximately 3:30 pm, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck on Wellington Road 32 in Puslinch Township.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Timothy CARY, a 64-year-old from Guelph, is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Careless driving causing bodily harm

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Provincial Offences Court in Guelph at a later date.

Wellington Road 32 was closed between Laird Road West and Concession Road 4 in Puslinch for several hours but has since re-opened.
