(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) - One person is deceased following a collision involving a pedestrian and multiple vehicles in the Township of Puslinch.
On July 19, 2026, just before midnight, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Guelph-Wellington County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Guelph Fire Department, responded to a collision on Highway 6 near the City of Guelph involving a pedestrian and six vehicles.
The pedestrian, a 38-year-old from Guelph, suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no other reported injuries.
Highway 6 between Stone Road and Kortright Road was closed for several hours while police conducted an investigation; however, the roadway has since reopened.
