(WELLINGTON, ON) - One person is deceased following a collision involving a pedestrian and multiple vehicles in the Township of Puslinch.

On July 19, 2026, just before midnight, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Guelph-Wellington County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Guelph Fire Department responded to a collision on Highway 6 near the City of Guelph.

A pedestrian involved in the collision suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no other reported injuries.

Highway 6 between Stone Road and Kortright is closed as the Wellington OPP investigate the collision. This portion of roadway is expected to be closed for several hours. Motorists should plan alternative routes.
