FAIL TO STOP ON RIGHT FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLE RESULTS IN CHARGES

Three Charges Laid - Court Date Issued

(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) - Driver facing three charges and court date after failing to stop on right for emergency vehicle.

On June 29, 2026, at approximately 6:30 pm, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit were conducting proactive traffic enforcement within Puslinch, which resulted in a traffic stop being initiated on Wellington Road 32.

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old of Cambridge is charged under the Highway Traffic Act and the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:

  • Fail to stop on right for emergency vehicle
  • Owner operate a motor vehicle without insurance
  • Drive motor vehicle - no licence

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court - Guelph at a later date.
