(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) - Charges have been laid following a collision in Mount Forest involving a farm tractor.
On June 23, 2026, at approximately 7:30 pm, a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Main Street North and Sligo Road East in Mount Forest, involving a farm tractor and a sports utility vehicle (SUV).
Investigation determined that the farm tractor drove into the rear of the SUV which was stopped at the intersection. No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old from Mount Forest, is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
